Dr Oz “Will not be Silenced”

[s2If is_user_logged_in()] Who is Dr Oz? Dr Oz is a Turkish-American cardiothoracic surgeon, author and TV personality. He is widely supportive of alternative medicine and has been criticized for giving "non-scientific" advice on his radio show. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mehmet_Oz The Latest Controversy He defended his right to free speech on his radio show on Thursday, 23 April after critics sent an email to Columbia University's surgery department (Dr. Oz is vice chairman), calling his faculty position at the university "unacceptable" and claiming that he promoted "quack treatments and cures in the interest of personal financial gain”. Dr Oz quickly responded by pointing out that the ten physicians in question all had strong ties to the pharmaceutical industry. He specifically highlighted Dr Henry I. Miller, for his vocal support of genetically modified foods and connection to the American Council on Science and Health, a pro-industry lobbying group.  "My exploration of alternative medicine has never been intended to take the place of conventional medicine, but rather as additive," he said. "Critics often...

The Demon Zinc

The Demon Zinc

"Zinc Chloride Paste Still Valuable" Dr Norman Brooks, a skin cancer specialist, and was speaking at a meeting sponsored by the American Society for Mohs Surgery. A cancer fighter that has a two-hundred-year history is still valuable for treating melanomas, said he, speaking of the demon zinc. He does not mention bloodroot though it was in the original recipe.   Read What He Said Next "Zinc chloride paste not only penetrates and kills even thick melanomas, it appears to stimulate a strong immune reaction that decreases the likelihood of metastasis and recurrence."   And there is a possibility of cancer cells getting into the bloodstream during surgery, he said (apparently only a possibility - they don't really know - or admit this). The good doctor believes that Zinc chloride has proven in tests to reduce the spread of new tumors. The work of Dr Wells was mentioned (successfully treating breast cancer with zinc chloride and bloodroot)... though his name was not. He used the same salve as...

Moh’s Black Salve

Moh’s Black Salve

Moh's paste (black salve) still recommended According to Dr Perry Robins, cancer treatment has changed a lot since fifty years ago, when doctors used surgical excision, radiation, or curettage with electrodesiccation. Success rates were then about 90% for a primary tumor and 50% or less for recurring tumors. More methods are employed these days, but strangely, a technique that came of age during the sixties remains the stand-out success story - Mohs technique. With a success rate of 98-99% for primary lesions, and 96% for recurrences of tumors that had already been treated by other methods, Mohs incurred the outrage of the medical community when his technique was first publicized... heart attack and die of "not surprise" time. In the thirties, Mohs pioneered "chemosurgery" using a paste of zinc chloride and bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis). The paste "fixed" tumors and allowed them to be more easily removed. It also gave a much better cosmetic result, as more aggressive surgery was not necessary and healthy...

DMSO – “The Aspirin of Our Era”

DMSO - The Aspirin of Our Era! Here is a big bunch of virtual red roses to Stanley Jacob, MD. for his dedication and hard work for the health of humanity. Again, I think, here is a wonderful discovery that does not get to the people who could benefit from it. Drug companies are not interested because there are not multi-millions of dollars to be made. FDA only allow DMSO to be used for bladder infection. It is used in black salve because it safely transports medicine through the skin and into the tissue. It is also excellent in healing preparations. The substance has an interesting history. Stanley Jacob, MD is a pioneering DMSO researcher and member of the Life Extension Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board. Having conducted research on DMSO and its many medical uses since the early 1960s, Dr. Jacob is often called “the father of DMSO” in honor of his life’s work in trying to bring this unique compound the recognition it...
